Toutes mes condoléances pour la famille de John.
I only knew him from our short talks in the car park before teaching. What a lovely start to the day to be greeted by such a positive, smiling man. He made rainy days a bit better for everyone around him, gave positive energy to all. Thank you for all your hellos and goodbyes. Small things mean a lot.

I remember Mr Pipitone during my time in the CCF at Warwick School. He was a fantastic instructor and mentor to me and many others. Although he was instructing for the CCF, the lessons we learned from him extended far beyond. Mr Pipitone struck a wonderful balance between demanding the highest standards and discipline from his cadets/pupils whilst being true to the warm and caring man that he was. I regret that I will not be able to attend the memorial as I am an ocean away. I will be thinking of Mr Pipitone and his family during the next few weeks and I will always remember.
